1. CMC Functions in Water Soluble Emulsion Coating

Polymerization between common emulsion and resin emulsion is key film-forming material Except adding pigment, thickening agent, dispersing agent, preservative and film-forming solvent, etc is needed.

2. CMC Use Method in Emulsion Coating

To use CMC as thickener and dispersant in emulsion should according to its characteristics. Firstly add CMC into alkaline pigments and fillings, mixing and rolling them. Then strongly agitate CMC mixed materials with emulsions to dissolve them rapidly.

Or can dissolve CMC at first, then agitate, mix it with other materials. High speed disperse mill is recommended for strong agitation.

3. CMC Dosage and Model Selection

CMC dosage for coatings usually is 3.5kg-4.2kg dry powder per m3. Can use model T06 and TST12.
